DJI Mini 4K is an incredible way to capture your aerial world in 4K. Weighing less than 249 grams, no test is required in most countries regions.* It’s also stunningly easy to use, with a 31-min max flight time, a 10km (32,800 feet) max transmission range, incredible 4K footage, and so much more.

Top choice despite lacking a few features
This is my very first drone, and honestly, I’m blown away by how much tech is packed into something so small. The DJI Mini 4K makes a great first impression right out of the box—setup is quick, the app walks you through all the basics, and takeoff/landing is almost effortless thanks to the automated controls.Once you’re in the air, it’s clear DJI has designed this to be beginner-friendly, but there’s still quite a learning curve. Flying around casually is pretty easy, but if you’re trying to avoid every branch or wire while keeping your camera framed just right, that’s another story. I’ve clipped a few tree branches already (oops) but the drone has been surprisingly resilient.The pre-programmed flight patterns are handy for getting smooth shots without much effort though there aren’t many to choose from, and I wish there was a way to add more. A follow-me mode and obstacle avoidance would have made this an even stronger choice for newcomers like me. Probably DJI Neo would have been a better choice but I wanted the remote-control.Battery life is about 20 minutes, which feels fair for something in this size/price range. The remote is solid and comfortable to use, and the in-app video editor was an unexpected bonus. It’s actually good enough to polish clips right after a flight. The one-tap edit is very intelligent, but fast and efficient for simple videos.All in all, the DJI Mini 4K is fun, impressive, and a great value for the money. It’s not a perfect “point-and-fly” solution for total beginners, but if you’re willing to practice a little, it’s an exciting entry into the drone world.(Video: Examples from first days of flying—still learning, but you can see how stable it is even with a rookie at the controls!)

I’ve tested several drones over the years, but this one absolutely stands out. From unboxing to first flight, everything felt high-quality and thoughtfully designed. The setup was quick, the controls were intuitive, and the GPS lock was fast and reliable.What really sets it apart is the camera quality — the footage is incredibly sharp, smooth, and cinematic. The stabilization system works like magic, even in windy conditions. I captured aerial shots that look like they came straight out of a professional film.Battery life was surprisingly good — I got about 25–30 minutes of flight time per charge. The return-to-home feature is also super accurate and gives peace of mind when flying over long distances.Whether you’re a hobbyist, content creator, or just love epic aerial views, this drone delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend it if you want pro-level video without breaking the bank.

Disappointed After a Few Months of Use
I was excited when I first bought the DJI Mini 4K—it worked great for the first few months with solid video quality and smooth flying. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. The drone began having random connection issues that kept getting worse and worse. On its last flight, it completely lost connection without warning and returned to home which was into a tree. Unfortunately this resulted in a crash to the ground and it breaking.For a drone at this price point, I expected better long-term reliability. It’s disappointing to have connection problems become so severe after only a few months of normal use. Until DJI improves durability and signal stability, I can’t recommend this model. Bought July 25 and became a broken paperweight in Nov 25.

Good product, hard to set up with Android OS. I am a beginner drone pilot. This is first serious drone. Very easy to control, stable, responsive. Camera is amazing- hi definition and stabilized. Customer service with DJI has been good. Set up with android takes several steps, requiring assistance. Much easier set-up with Apple OS. This keeps it from being a 5-star review. Really enjoying the 25-30 min flight time as I train to become more proficient.

Absolutely love this drone. I use it for real estate photography. Very easy to fly and takes great pictures and videos. Doesn’t feel like cheap plastic like some other drones I looked at. Battery life is as advertised. It’s size keeps me from having to get a drone pilot license.

Die Lieferung war wie immer schnell und unkompliziert – am nächsten Tag da, gut verpackt und das Angebot (Preis) war so unschlagbar, dass ich mich nicht beherrschen konnte ;)Fazit:Eine durchdachte, stabile Einsteigerdrohne mit erstaunlich guter Kamera. Wer erste Schritte im Drohnenflug machen will, liegt mit der Mini 4K genau richtig.

Das macht mal richtig Spaß. Nicht zu vergleichen mit Spielzeugdrohnen. Das Ding steht in der Luft wie festgenagelt, egal ob draußen oder drinne. Qualität von Bildern und Video ist völlig ausreichend. Ein Highlight sind die Kugelbilder. Leichte Bedienung macht das auch für Anfanger und Gelegenheitspiloten möglich, super Bilder und Videos zu erstellen. Zu empfehlen ist der Kauf einer Ladeeinrichtung, denn das Laden in der Drohne selbst, empfinde ich als umständlich und platzraubend. Das ist aber meine persönliche Einschätzung.

Die DJI Mini 4K ist eine sehr gelungene Drohne für Einsteiger und Hobby-Filmer. Sie ist extrem leicht und kompakt, liefert stabile 4K-Aufnahmen dank 3-Achs-Gimbal und bietet mit rund 30 Minuten pro Akku eine solide Flugzeit. Besonders positiv sind die einfachen Flugmodi und die intuitive Bedienung, wodurch auch Anfänger schnell gute Ergebnisse erzielen.Ein paar Abstriche gibt es bei schwachem Licht sowie bei der Video-Bildrate, da 4K nur mit 30fps möglich ist. Für professionelle Filmprojekte oder viel Action-Video ist sie daher weniger geeignet. Auch zusätzliche Akkus sind empfehlenswert, da man sonst schnell nachladen muss.Insgesamt eine tolle Drohne für Reisen, Vlogs und Freizeitvideos zu einem sehr fairen Preis.

Ho acquistato il DJI Mini 4K come primo drone e ne sono davvero soddisfatto. È molto leggero (sotto i 250g), quindi non serve patentino per volare in molte situazioni. La qualità video in 4K a 30fps è davvero buona, le immagini sono nitide e stabili grazie al gimbal a 3 assi.🔹 Facilissimo da usare, anche per chi è alle prime armi. Il decollo e l’atterraggio automatici funzionano alla perfezione e il drone si mantiene stabile in volo.🔹 Ottima autonomia: circa 25-30 minuti reali, ovviamente dipende dal vento e dall’uso.🔹 Compatto e trasportabile ovunque, ideale per i viaggi.Unica pecca: non ha sensori anticollisione, quindi serve un po’ di attenzione soprattutto in spazi stretti. E manca il tracciamento automatico dei soggetti, ma a questo prezzo non si può chiedere di più.🎥 In sintesi: perfetto per chi vuole iniziare a fare video e foto con un drone senza spendere troppo. Lo ricomprerei subito.
