got this robot building set and it turned out way better than I expected. The packets are labeled and the instructions are clear, kind of like how Lego does it, so kids can actually follow along without getting frustrated. It is not a name brand but honestly the quality feels just as good.What I love is how it becomes a whole activity. They build one version, take it apart and then immediately start the next because they want to see how many ways they can make it. It keeps them busy in the best way and the finished robots look really cool. Such a good toy for any teen-age kid (even adults tbh) who likes to build and tinker.

Instructions marginal, but good product
The product says the age range is 8-12. I’m nearly 70, and i struggled a bit learning the directions, which are pictorial only. It took awhile to catch on to their method, but, once I did, things went quite well. The product comes with parts in cellophane bags and it’s quite intimidating when you first start out. Once you get going, it’s great fun. The parts snap together securely and the end result is satisfying.

This is a really cool kit. It’s like a Lego kit that comes to life, and teaches you valuable foundational skills about robotics, programing, and building.I assembled this with my 7yr old nephew who loved every minute of it. Watching him take control with the remote and the excitement that poured out of him as this toy he built moved on its own was priceless.Component quality was great, and the instructions were easy to follow. What I really appreciated about this toy is that they’ve developed multiple configurations, so its not just build it – play – and shelve it. You can take it apart and build something else. After trying out a handful of the configurations, my nephew’s confidence was bursting and he was coming up with his own ‘inventions’, inspired by his new knowledge in robotics.If you’re looking to inspire some young engineers in your family, this product is exceptional – and I highly recommend trying it out.

As a mom and an educator, this is a hands-on set for young children ages 8 to 12, that will provide many hours of hands-on experiences for a young children to help stimulate imaginative play using manipulative that is of a robotic design. This is fantastic for my young children in my classroom.Young children will be engaged and interact whether it’s individual or in small groups with this educational robot set for many hours, exploring how each piece connect and try to discover how it works, which is fantastic for young children to help develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking.It combines stem education with imaginative play, allowing children to build multiple robot design from the same set of pieces, which is very unique. The parts fit together securely, and the instructions are clear enough for older children to follow with minimal help, promoting both problem-solving and fine motor skills development.This set is recommended for ages 8 to 12 and it creates a great balance between challenge and fun, with lots of opportunities also for adults to also join in with your child or in my case my students as an educator. It teaches basic engineering and programming concept through it buildable, configurable models, which is exciting these days. This is a fantastic set, is a great start to introduce basic coding to any child. The materials feel fairly sturdy and durable enough to keep any youngsters engage for hours.I also really appreciate the booklet with both simple, step-by-step and straightforward instructions accompanied by visual images to help guide building this robot.This is a fantastic five and one robot toys for ages 8 to 12 and even the big kid in the room as well perfect for Home, classrooms, use. As a hands-on project it has a lot of potential for keeping a child busy and actually learning something rather than just pressing buttons. I had fun assembling it as adult, and general fit and finish feels satisfying.The only thing that raised a red flag for me is the app. It isn’t available through the usual app stores and instead has to be downloaded from an external site. For a kid’s toy, that feels risky and honestly takes away from what could have been a great STEM experience. If the manufacturer releases the app through official platforms, this would easily be a five star product.

I’m really a fan of STEM kits since they blend learning and fun together so well. I’ve found robot kits offer the flexibility of LEGO with Meccano capabilities. The kit from DIEBA is well put together, everything is neatly organized and instructions are clear.Building this kit is a lot of fun, whether you have an older kid building it solo, or if you use it as a parent/kid project for your younger child. I was surprised by the quality of parts, along with the fit and finish – edges were clean and pieces fit together well.Enjoyed this build. Great find.
