All metal, works with my old Canon cameras (1990s Powershots; don’t judge me)
This is a good tripod. Lightweight, easy to unlock for use and store. The pan function for tilting and adjustment is easy. There are screw knobs which make handling it a breeze.Good for the money! The legs are aluminum and telescope well. Will feel light to touch and fragile, but it does what you bought it to do with a normal small camera setup.

Great product and a great price.
I am very happy with this tripod especially for the low price. I am not a professional photographer and cannot compare it to high end tripods, so yes many reviewers are complaining it is flimsy and cheaply made. But for the person just starting out a new hobby, or will use it infrequently, this works great! Yes it is lightweight and made with plastic parts, but it functions very well and has a multitude of adjustments and a bubble level for well centered photos. I immediately noticed a huge improvement in the clarity and quality of my photographs with this tripod, and with a remote control device. Be careful when handling and adjusting plastic parts, and not over-tighten, or apply excess pressure.

    Worth The Price
First off, understand that you’re getting exactly what you’re paying for – a relatively cheap tripod. It is extremely light, so take that into consideration if you plan to use it with heavier equipment. It folds up to be about a foot tall and can easily be fit into a backpack or on the outside of a camera bag. When the legs are fully extended, the tripod can seem a little flimsy, especially if you have a full load of camera equipment attached to it. If you’re using it to shoot a time lapse or for something where the camera needs to remain completely still, I would recommend hanging something a little heavier from the center of the tripod to weigh it down and hold it still. The platform has a bubble level, as well as a handle to rotate the camera. This is a very minimalist, bare-bones tripod that still functions well enough to help get the job done. For the price, this tripod is great. It’s extremely light, very portable, and easy to use. However, if you’re looking for a professional-grade tripod, you might want to shop around before deciding. This guy is great for everyday use, especially if you’re moving around a lot. I primarily use it to shoot skateboarding, so it does exactly what I need it to – be functional, lightweight, portable, and easy to use.

Hard to Believe that ANYBODY Finds This Thing Acceptable
I do not recall ever seeing something so totally worthless as this piece of JUNK!! If I put a quarter into a toy machine at the fair and got this out, I would still feel CHEATED. If you only wanted to use it on a solid table with no legs or head extended, you MIGHT be OK, but I would still expect the plastic parts to crumble or break relatively soon. I would NEVER trust a real DSLR or camcorder on this thing. If the legs are extended at all, it quakes like the leaves on an aspen, and any vibrations on the floor or the slightest touch makes it begin twisting like a drunk dog.My problem, I guess, is that I have a REAL photography-grade tripod I have been using since the 70s – one that actually works. So that when I am presented with a cheap toy I can see how bad it is. This junk is so spindly and weak I would not trust it to stand by itself in a corner. The screw that supposedly holds the center shaft from moving is just forced through the plastic, it is not even inserted straight, and it is almost impossible to turn with bare fingers! And BEWARE! -once you receive this piece of JUNK, you will be surprised to find that Amazon says it is NOT RETURNABLE!!!!!!!!!! (I called them and they made it right, but what a shock to see that they sold me something they KNEW was so bad they never wanted to see it again!)

    Good for the price
Isn’t the most sturdy tripod, and it’s light enough that it’s easy to fall over if you place a camera/phone on it wrong. The bag is okay, although it’s a weird fit.

    Super light-duty tripod
Tripod is fine if you know and expect to get a $15 product. It’s sturdy enough to hold a cellphone (and the adapter you’ll need to buy separately to hold your phone) It packs up very small..about a foot and that’s perfect for what I want. Just wanted something to hold my phone up to get pictures of me and my guy while we’re out on our adventures. I would absolutely not ever put my expensive DSLR on this tripod. It’s perfect for phones or super lightweight cameras though

Perfect backpack tripod for quick light shooting
I would never put a DSLR on this tripod, but it’s the perfect little tripod for on the go, run and gun, camera work. I’ve used it as a tripod for my action camera and my full vlog setup (light, mic, and cellphone) on the go. And it’s been great! Fits in a backpack and is out and setup quickly. However, it is very very light and a strong wind could easily take it. When my cellphone vlog setup is on it, it almost feels like borderline too much weight. It has never fallen over, but I wouldn’t trust it under questionable conditions. While this is great for a light digital camera (GoPro/action camera size). It’s NOT ideal ( I wouldn’t think) for the best stability with a high end camera with a heavy lens. However, it’s great for run and gun light camera work. When I go on hikes it takes like a couple minutes to pull it out and get B roll shots from the hike with a cell phone or action camera. The bag it comes with is super cheap. Already tore and is in the trash.
