Easy to set up, super fast printing
This review is for Xerox’s C320dni Wireless Printer for $395.99.TLDR; Pros and ConsPros– QR Codes on the box provide quick and easy to follow setup and registration through the app.- Unboxing was easy and fast. It suggested using 2 people to lift out of the box but I had no problem lifting it out by myself.- Includes toner saving options like black/white-only printing and the ability to adjust the toner darkness on a scale of 1 to 5.- So fast! This printer is so fast!Cons– Have to retype the wifi network password every time you connect (no memory). The keyboard is super tiny and there’s no option to ‘show’ or ‘reveal’ password as you type it in.- Maximum awake time is 5 minutes before it puts itself to sleep. Trying to print on a laptop upstairs to the printer which is sleeping downstairs does not wake it up.- Printer menu is a little difficult to navigate – lots of ‘nope, not there’ and backing out and trying other options.- Toner cost is expensive – a little over $1000 for the high-capacity cartridges (or about $200 each).I recently bought a 2nd house to be closer to my parents and am spending about 50% of my time there and 50% at the “old house”. I’ve been using my husband’s old laser jet which has been great but I dread moving it back and forth – not only is it big and bulky, but one wrong bump on the road and I fear it’ll be the scrap yard for that old printer. So when I saw this pop up, I jumped on it. Perfect solution is having a printer in each location. The printer is well made and packed. There’s a QR code right on the top of the box that you can scan and watch videos on how to unpack and set it up. Both unboxing and setting it up was fairly easy.My husband’s old laserjet was at least 10 or 20 years old and only black and white. Compared to this shiny, new printer, it was sooooo slow. I couldn’t believe how fast this printer was! I know it’s been a few years in between but I was honestly a little shocked at how fast it was!Once you find the correct series of prompts to navigate on the control panel, it was easy to connect to wifi. I downloaded the app onto my phone which helped me register the printer with the QR code (it’s a little hard to find) and it sent a setup link to my email address so I could get the software on my laptop. It took a try or two for the software to recognize the printer but did after the 2nd or 3rd try – I am sure this has more to do with the poor connectivity at the house than with the printer.Overall I’m happy with this printer. It’s so fast! I mainly use it for my business printing labels so 95% of the time I’ll just be using black (not color). It is nice to have that color option, though.

    not a great purchase
This printer is not as described. the majority of the printing is black and white and the ink has to be replaced 4 times already. paper try is not very deep, very disappointed

Solid Pedigree Laser Printer But Possibly Expensive Care
After having and using the XEROX C320 laser printer for just a few days, I’m getting a clear sense of its strengths and quirks. First off, the size genuinely surprised me—it’s got an 18-inch footprint (with the protruding power cord factored in) and stands about 12½ inches tall. For a home printer, that feels substantial, though I realize in an office setting it would be probably considered on the smaller side. It’s quite hefty, too, weighing in at around 45 pounds right out of the box, so lifting and positioning it isn’t exactly a one-handed task.Setup was a challenge, even with the XEROX app. It took nearly four hours, with a couple of factory resets thrown in before everything clicked. The quick start instructions that came in the box didn’t help much either. They definitely could have been more thorough and better illustrated. If you’re new to this, I’d recommend reading everything twice and having the XEROX EASY ASSIST application downloaded on your mobile device before you start. Even then, plan on packing a good deal of your patience and set aside a good chunk of time in case things don’t go exactly smoothly the first time. The wireless connectivity is a real plus for me over the ethernet or USB options. I can now print from anywhere from nearly anything in the house, or even out on the deck, with no need to power up the printer or wait for warmup. In terms of use, the print speed (35 ppm) is a huge step up from my old ink jet, which is a relief for longer jobs. Print quality is pretty crisp and consistent, though not a massive leap up from my ink jet, but definitely reliable and noticeable. The ongoing cost of toner is my biggest concern as replacement cartridges are pricey. A single toner cartridge can cost over $100 while a set of cartridges can go $500 to $900 for a full YMCK set. Of course, manufacturer and capacity affect these costs. Reportedly the initial toner cartridge set only lasts about 1000 pages while the replacements can yield 2000 plus. Since the C320 is still fairly new, having come out initially in summer 2024, I’m hoping those prices will come down over time with more manufacturers becoming involved. All in all, I find the XEROX C320 to be a responsive and solidly built printer. I trust the XEROX brand based on years of positive experience in the workplace. Here’s hoping my bet on their dependability and a drop in cartridge prices pays off.

    Amazing Purchase!
I always wanted a color laser printer but was undecided for a long long time. Most printers have mixed reviews and I wanted to make sure that was going to buy a keeper. This machine impressed me in so many ways, first it’s easy to install and use, it connected to my computer in minutes and wireless connection worked great for that. The print quality is amazing, the functions and features are simple to use and get them right. In my opinion the price was really good, considering it’s a full size printer, and the brand can speak for itself, it’s not a simple printer, it’s a xerox.
