This WYZE Solar Cam Pan truly exceeded my expectations!First off, installation was super easy — no wiring needed at all. Just mount it and connect the solar panel, and it’s ready to go. I was able to cover areas that were impossible to reach before, which makes it really convenient.The 2K HD video quality is excellent. Details are sharp enough to recognize faces and even license plates during the day. At night, the color night vision looks great — much better than the usual black-and-white night view.The 360° pan and tilt is my favorite part — you can literally see every corner with no blind spots. From the app, I can rotate the camera anywhere I want. Combined with the AI motion detection and auto-tracking, it automatically follows people or movement smoothly. There is a lot that you should know about this product and more, what you need to know about Wyze!Let me begin with I have had Wyze products in and around my home for 4 years. Things worked nicely. Then I thought to add this Wyze Solar Cam Pan POS. Yes, It is a grand POS. I should have read the reviews but instead, I went on my past experience with Wyze. This experience was before you were restricted from speaking to tech support. Today you Get to speak to a poorly trained Philipino, yes, in the Philippines. In the past, I called and got to speak with a real tech support person since inevitably everything is outsourced to another country.I had issues mounting the Solar Cam Pan right from the get go. Read other reviews here and you will find this to be commonplace on this, their most recent release.After a week, I returned my first Solar Cam since there was no tech support. “I’m sorry sir but you cannot speak to the specialists. They do not take calls and they do not return calls.” How frustrating! If you have an issue, you are out of luck.So, I returned the first one to Amazon and tried a second Solar Cam Pan. It was totally inconsistent in setting up the Cam with WiFi. I called and got a new agent that has tried to help but has failed miserably. She was going to be my bridge to get help from what seems to be a non-existent Wizard behind the Curtain (in OZ of course). It is now two weeks of waiting for some real tech support. Nothing. I am done. I am returning the second new unit. You buy a product that doesn’t work and they are unwilling to help.Be sure to find another company who might actually be there to help you rather than be disappointed waiting for responses that do not come.To sum it up for you. Two separate cameras. Two separate cameras that did not work. Too many attempts to get support. Too many emails that lead nowhere! Too bad!Do not make the same mistake that many have made, expecting a tech support person but they are not allowed to talk to customers that need help! This seems like the perfect model on how to sink your business! That, Wyze is on top of.
