This pack of walkie talkies comes with 6 colorful units each with rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries. They charge via USB-micro cables. It comes with two 3-headed cables so that 3 units can be charged at once. There is not a wall adapter included.The body of the walkie talkies is all plastic with a hard rubber antenna. The controls are all push buttons on the front of the units. There is a PTT (push-to-talk) button on the side, but everything else, including volume, is controlled by the buttons on the front. The set also comes with breakaway strap lanyards to hang around the neck.The walkie talkies use the FRS radio bands and do not require any license to operate. They have pre-set NOAA weather radio channels. You will have to look up what channels work in your area. You should determine the coverage in your area and note the frequency when you first get them. Our area has really poor coverage for NOAA channels and it is better that we discovered that BEFORE an emergency.These radios are marketed for use by children – thus the bright bold colors – but they are also good for family communication around the neighborhood, on vacation, or at amusement parks. They are a decent quality but are not ruggedized.These will also work in areas without cell service as long as there are not large buildings or canyons to block the radio signal. The sound quality and clarity will depend on many factors including distance, line of sight, and user proficiency.Children like to push buttons and hear the beep, so they should be instructed how to properly use the radios so that they don’t change the channel or privacy setting and lose communication. There is also a locking feature that can be used.

Fun, Durable Walkie Talkies That Were a Big Hit With Kids and Adults
I ordered this 6-pack of walkie talkies to pass along to a family with young children so they could be tested in real-world use. They were immediately impressed by how easy they were to set up and how sturdy they feel in hand.The walkie talkies are ready to use right out of the box, with simple controls that kids were able to figure out quickly. The keypad lock is a nice touch, preventing accidental channel changes, and the included lanyards made them easy for children to carry without dropping them. Sound quality was clear and loud, even when used inside the house or across the yard.Battery life was another strong point. The included rechargeable AA batteries and multi-port USB charging cables made it convenient to charge several units at once, and they held a charge well during extended play. The hands-free iVOX feature worked reliably for activities where pressing the talk button wasn’t practical.The built-in NOAA weather alert feature was appreciated by the adults, especially for outdoor activities like camping or hiking, adding a layer of safety beyond just fun. Overall range was more than sufficient for neighborhood use, backyard games, and family outings. Veyr colorful and great value.As a group gift, these were very well received. They combine durability, clear communication, and kid-friendly simplicity, making them a great option for families who want an engaging, screen-free way to stay connected during play and outdoor adventures.

these look like toys, but i will tell you, they are not. these have functionalities i dont see on some security walkie talkies being offered. it hits everything you’d want and some. the sound is very clean and no lag, the batteries are high quality and rechargeable. You get 2 cables split into 6 meaning you can have all 6 charging at once from only 2 power source points via usb A, so very convenient. if you dont want to charge them just put other batteries in. there are many functions, from calling others via a sound, customizing said sound per talkie, having private channels for more than 1 if not all. the clip is very convenient and must be removed to access the back and batteries. the lanyard has a quick detach which ive never seen before and is nice to have talkie around your neck if you dont want to have it clipped to your belt or pants. the size is compact enough to fit more shirt pockets if thats more of your flavor. if these were black theyd be sold at premium. not to mention a headset jack is also on these. i haven’t even gone through all the modes yet.

Great range and clear sound
I love these walkie talkies, and they aren’t just for kids! They work extremely well are compact and rechargeable. The sound quality on them is excellent and they have good range. We go to horse shows that are large outside events, and it allows us to communicate with each other easily. We give one to each of the kids and we don’t have to work so hard to keep track of them. When we aren’t using them as a family the kids have a blast playing with them in the house and the yard. The can each pick their own color and there’s plenty to choose from for boys and girls! The battery life on these is really good and they recharge pretty quickly. They come with usb charging cables and straps so you can even charge them in your car!
