Great little action camera for the price!
This is a nice little action camera for the price and does what I need it to do. It has several shooting modes including photo, video, time lapse photo, video lapse, horizonal and vertical video, and loop recording.Connected easily to the SJCam app on my OnePlus12 phone. Do note that you will need your phone and the app to access and navigate the camera settings and functions as there are only 2 buttons and no screen on the camera itself.If you’re phone is already connected to a wifi network, I needed to turn off and on my phone Wi-Fi to connect to the camera wifi when you turn the camera on otherwise I didn’t see the camera wifi. Not a big deal once I figured that out but it also could be my phone settings.But it’s a good option for the price ( I got it for under $100 with the instant coupon discount) and it came with a ton of different GoPro compatible mounting accessories and protective waterproof case as well. The camera back itself is also a pretty strong magnet making it even more versatile. The image quality is actually surprisingly good even in low light. The greatest draws for me are the low price and the super small and compact form factor and that it’s simple to use. It’s about half the size of a GoPro. I included a picture next to my insta360 OneRS so you can see how small it is. If you want a simple, easy to use compact action cam at a budget price, this is a great option.

Limitations and poorly thought out design regarding marking this camera to high level cyclist.
Camera was advertised as being able to be charged while in use. Manufacturer says “Absolutely do not attempt to do so! Battery could overheat”. Said it had a bicycle handlebar mount. It did not. Had a poorly thought out helmet mount with no securing straps, just double sided sticky tape. My helmet has air intakes on top where this proposed mount was intended to be attached. The camera was noticeably heavier than the thumb sized camera I tried before this one. Too heavy and too non aerodynamic to be mounted on one’s head during road racing level training or events. Phone app would not synch with WiFi connection required to control the camera from my mobile phone – iPhone 12 Pro. No way to tell how much Carr memory was being used or occupied with out the phone – camera connection. Magnetic pendent worn inside my cycling jersey vs the weight of the camera resulted in the camera constantly bouncing and swaying as it pulled the jersey fabric in and out from my chest.

Gyro Stabilization makes the difference!
I bought this mini body cam a few months ago and LOVE it. I had already bought a very similar cheaper body cam that did not have stabilization – and all vids of me moving were blurry and unwatchable. But THIS cam has gyro stabilization and it’s GREAT. Now all the moving vids are ok to great. I love the around-the-neck magnet that it attaches to. I film bike rides, and walks – and can even narrate since the cam has audio. Bottom line – DON’T buy one of these cams “without” stabilization. And this one has worked out great for me. (The video below was taken with me walking with the cam around my neck. On the same walk with the cam with NO stabilization the vid was horribly shaking.

Really good alternative action camera that captures 4K
I was looking for alternative action cameras to use for adventures, mounting on my bike, or swimming. This actually does a pretty good job on serving that purpose.- Straight forward setup with popping in the Micro SD card and downloading files via the USB-C cable.- Shoots in 4K.- Quality is good with lots of light and/or sunlight. In low light, it’s decent.- Lot of accessories. It came with a 32GB Micro SD card, which is nice and sufficient for what I need.- The app is basic, but does the job.Overall, I recommend it if you’re looking an alternative action camera.

Si sistema de estabilización de sus ejes y sobre todo su algoritmo de corrección de distorsión de barril son geniales. Quizás un punto a mejorar en el diseño es la ubicación del micrófono que en la parte superior pierde la calidad que tendría en el frontal de la cámara.
