I give 5 out of 5. I purchased it for my husband before attending a family reunion. I’m Hispanic and he always have to use sign language, be feel left out of our conversations or I have to translate for him. This device has allowed him to be involved, laugh at the jokes and be part of the family. It is easy to set up, the sound is perfect and it has three modes of translation. The actual translation is pretty accurate with very minor errors. When errors occur, he can use context clues. We only use English to Spanish but they are no many languages that we feel confident to travel to other countries.

Not What We Expected 🙁
Great Price at 40.00. However, you must subscribe to additional services, with an annual cost of $299.00 or a monthly fee of $20.00 per AP user. Then, whoever you invite by text message to link to the translation must also subscribe to the translation service. In my opinion, this is a pyramid of price-gouging services. This is not a good fit, as we have 10-12 people who could utilize this; however, the cost is prohibitive, and a human translator is less expensive. An excellent lesson for us; I guess I missed the fine print.

A decent and useful tool for basic communication
I bought this for my girlfriend and she liked it. The baby blue color looks very pretty, and it doesn’t hurt your ears when wearing it. And the translation is not just English——it is capable of translating a large variety of languages that covers most countries all over the world. It not only helps when you are starting to live in a new country and you are still not quite familiar with their language, but it also helps you to better communicate with others when you are traveling to foreign countries. It is slower than if you are already pretty frequent with that language, as it needs to gather the sentence and then do the translation, so you get some latency, but you won’t be looking for a product like this if you are very frequent in all those languages. Overall, it is a useful tool to communicate with others in a language that you are not quite familiar with.

They stay on very well.
They stayed on perfectly with jumping jacks, deadlift and even spins. With no movement at all. That was a deal breaker on the last pair I returned. If you are active they will stay on. The music is loud enough for me on the second notch above no volume. I haven’t tried the translator app yet. I mainly needed earbuds that stayed on after my last ones lasted 3 years.

Terrible Sound
Got these for translation feature but could not hear anything that was translated. Even with volume all the way up I could barley hear the translation in a quiet room. Music played loud enough to hear but I already have Shokz and wanted a good translator ear piece.
