Can the Lightstrip show multiple colors at once?
No, they are not addressable. The entire Lightstrip can only show 1 color at a time, but you still have more than 16M colors to choose from, and color Scenes to allow your Lightstrip to transition between colors!
Can I cut them or bend them?
Yes, you can cut and bend them. Just make sure to cut along the indicated cut marks on your Lightstrips. Also, be aware that once cut, they can not be reattached together.
How many Lightstrips can I connect together?
You can connect Lightstrips to a max length of 10 meters. Adding more than 10m to a Controller will result in a decrease in the overall brightness.
Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?
No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.
Can I control the Lightstrip with Bluetooth without Matter over Thread?
Yes! Bluetooth can be used for basic controls with just the Nanoleaf App, access features such as 16M+ Colors, Dynamic Color Scenes, Circadian Lighting, and Brightness Controls. Use Matter over Thread to access all features.

Short, But Easy Replacement or Extension to Your Starter Kit
I bought this because my previous strip was broken by a toothy cat. It was very quick and easy installation. Plugged right into my starter kit like nothing happened and the colors are as accurate and bright as when it was brand new. I wish this was offered in only a slightly longer length. A full 4 feet would be better.That being said, the sale price was phenomenal.

Works well, adhesive is not great – 3.5 stars
I have these installed on a covered screened in lanai. They work well and stay connected to my WiFi well, which was not the case for a previous set I had. They don’t have music following capability, or the ability to address the leds individually to have multiple colors on the string at once but they are a basic set. Get some strong double sided tape if you have an outdoor installation.

Didn’t Adhere At All
Took the back off to try and attach it – would not adhere at all, even a little. Going to have to return or make some kind of bracket to hold it in place. :/ Disappointing, I’d heard really good things about Nanoleaf stuff

great to add length
easy plug and play with the strip to add extra length. I added two to my starter kit to illuminate the area behind the TV and stand. Adds a nice ambiance. Nothing wrong with the strips themselves but the app remains buggy from time to time.

I ordered 3 of these as it says under Technical Details>included components: ”1 Nanoleaf Essentials Controller & Power Supply”, 1 Quick User Guide, 1 Nanoleaf Essentials Lightstrip 2M. I received everything except for the power supply and controller.
