Good camera, but not easy to set up on a Mac.
Tried to set it up on an iMac and it wasn’t recognized. Tested it on a Linux machine to verify it works or doesn’t, and it was plug-and-play. There are a number of settings required on a Mac that aren’t mentioned in the manual. Got it sorted out and the camera works great now. Be aware that you’ll need a powered USB hub or direct connection to the Mac’s USB port in order to provide enough power. The adjustable light intensity is a nice feature, and helpful if the room lighting changes. The clamp to attach it to the monitor could be better, but was sufficient.

Great plug and play webcam!
For what I need this for the camera is perfect. Price was good. The light has 3 different intensities and it was plug and play I did not need to do anything to get it installed. I have used 2 other 4k cameras that were a pain to set up. I’m using this for work so honestly I do not need them to see everything but I did not notice that big of a difference between 4k and 2k. Would buy again!

Clear
I am so glad that I bought this product! The camera is actually awesome and nice and clear!! Sometimes when the reviews are almost all positive, I get skeptical. However in this situation, they were spot on!

Works
Camera quality is pretty good. It holds in place well which is nice. The light only has one more and 3 brightness options and the lowest of high for me but good camera overall.

It’s worth getting a 4HD!
The 4HD is so much better than 2HD. Plus the swivel works great for tripods!

Clear plastic shield is easily damaged
This seems like a pretty good and versatile camera except for one thing. The protective plastic shield over the lens is way too soft. Not the closable cover, but the clear protective shield. The first time I used it (a few weeks after I bought it), there was a small smudge on the plastic shield. I tried to wipe it off, but I made it worse. The damage was permanent and couldn’t be cleaned. The material was terrible.Too bad, really. When I tested the camera, I liked the picture, the moveability, and the light. I like pretty much everything except the durability of the lens shield.
