Compared with pan head, ball head is faster to adjust the angle (360-degree free rotation), easier to operate, and lighter and more compact.
How do I choose the height of a tripod?
When choosing the height of the tripod, you can refer to the formula: tripod height ≈ height – 15cm – camera height. If you need to shoot with the legs apart, the height can be reduced by another 4-10cm. You can adjust it flexibly as needed.
How to select a tripod with an appropriate load-bearing capacity?
The tripod’s load capacity should cover camera + heaviest lens weight. For stability, choose one with 1.5-2x equipment total weight. E.g., 2kg gear needs ≥4kg load capacity.
Is the camera quick-mount plate on the tripod head universal?
Our tripods use Arca standard quick release plates. As long as the quick release plate meets the Acra standard, it can be adapted.

Well built and compact
This tripod feels very well built and sturdy, and is a great price. Have not had any issues with any parts coming loose. The 360 ball head allows for precise adjustment which is great. The quick release base plate is also a great addition, very convenient. The tripod is able to extend to be very tall but also is able to collapse into a fairly compact size considering its height and capabilities. I am able to fit it in a large tote bag, or just carry it around in the case that comes with it. Have not used the phone mount but it seems well made. I have not had it very long so I cannot vouch for how well it holds up, but it seems like it will last a good while

Diameter way too big but superb value, rock solid, and great quality
Though this is an incredible value and extremely solid and well-made, I am returning it and instead buying the K&F 63 inch ball head tripod model O235A1 BH40 for nearly the same price. This model is several inches shorter than the O235A1 BH40 when collapsed for storage or transportation. The shorter height seems appealing, but the collapsed diameter of this model is quite large. In fact, I cannot get more than one tripod leg into the side pocket of any of my camera backpacks. Having only one leg in a side pocket is too insecure and even if strapped tight to the side of a backpack it’s still quite large and bulky. It’s also so big in diameter that it’s not super easy to carry securely in one hand. I decided i would much rather have the O235A1 for nearly the same price. It’s minimum stored height is several inches longer but the diameter is much smaller. Though this tripod didn’t work out for me I am impressed by the build quality and stability. It’s a great deal if the diameter of the stowed tripod is not a big concern.

Solid tripod, good value, a couple of flaws
Overall very pleased with this tripod. Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of what all the knobs and levers do. Minor gripes which knock it down to 4 stars for me:1) In the product I received, the hex/allen head bolts which secure the legs to the center of the tripod had a bunch of tiny extremely sharp burrs on them. I kept getting little slices cut into my hands the first couple times I used the tripod, and it took me a while to figure out the source. I used a Dremel tool to clean up the surface of those bolt heads, and all is good now. But buyers should be aware of this hazard.2) The bubble level on the tripod head is fairly useless. It is heavily biased toward the center. So as long as you’re within 5-10º or so of horizontal, it reads as if you are actually level. I was hoping I’d be able to use the level to quickly get set up on uneven terrain, but it really isn’t helpful.Aside from those two issues, I’ve found the tripod to be quite secure and useful so far!

Nice Tripod
As an amateur photographer i need quality equipment for taking pictures and the K&F Concept 64 inch is a great addition.Very well-made and sturdy tripod and i especially like the locking ball socket for easy adjustments for various camera angles. The fluid filled rotating platform is very smooth taking videos. Also I like the phone attachment. My only complaint is the carrying case is a little too small and I half to carry the adjusting head separately. Otherwise a great tripod.
