Nice quality lock with several entry options
I like this door knob and keypad with several options to gain entrance. The fact that it locks automatically is a huge. benefit. I was a little unsure about downloading the app from a company I had not heard of before, but the app works fine. Our finger prints do not read 100% of the time, and that’s why I gave it 4 stars. When the finger print reader does work properly (we just try a couple times if it does not work the first time) or if we use the included key fob or a key code to gain entry, the green light illuminates and it beeps and unlocks immediately. I feel extra safe knowing that it locks immediately when we close the door. I wonder if we could get this re-keyed to fit our original house keys. Installation was easy and I was quite proud of myself for doing installing it on my own. It has been a challenge to find a deadbolt lock that looks nice with this so I may relocate it to a different exterior door. I love the quality – the door knob seems heavy duty, not cheap or flimsy, but is not difficult to turn. Great value and happy with my purchase!

Fantastic Smart Door Knob
Excellent smart door knob. Very easy to follow instructions for installation. It took all of 15 minutes at most. Everything works perfectly on it. Fingerprint recognition in less than a second and door is unlocked. It will recognize fingerprint at any position, 12,3,6 or 9 or any other angle. In other words, it will recognize fingerprint upside down or sideways. Numeric keypad works flawlessly with any 4-8 digit number. Key worked great also. The app is really great to round out all the bells and whistles this thing can do. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Does not operate consistently
When I ordered this lock, it was one of the few that had what I was looking for – keyless entry and standard handle (not the lever-type handle). Positives first: installation was easy taking just a few minutes. As simple as any other door handle I’ve replaced. The app hits good and bad – I really didn’t like the setup but it was usable. When it works, it’s fantastic; keypad illuminates, reads fingerprints, and locks after 30 seconds (the time is adjustable). Now, the deltas: one MANY occasions the electronics do not function and you can’t get in without a key. The pad does not illuminate, and nothing registers so you have to dig out a key which defeats the purpose. Sometimes after using the key it will light up and tell me that it has locked (and it did) but then it may or may not function. Not pleased with this lock at all. If it functioned like it was supposed to, I would be extremely happy with it; however, that’s not the case.

Solid construction. There are 4 ways I can unlock the door, with my fingerprint, code, key, or fob. It was easy to install and is pretty easy to use. On the negative side, it’s a little tricky to lock. You have to keep pushing and holding the button until you hear it say “locked,” which can take several time. Also, I would prefer if the metal plate that attaches to the door with the actual locking mechanism were a separate piece. My door just has a round hole, no place to screw a metal plate, so I’m going to need to chisel a rectangular indent. However, it’s still excellent. I have programmed in all my kids and grandkids fingerprints, so they can always get in, and I don’t have to worry about hiding a key or them losing their key.
