This was exactly what we needed for our new house. I waited a few weeks for my husband to install it and he was taking way too long so I did it by myself. I don’t know what I was so afraid of. It was super simple. I did have to file the hole in my wall to be slightly bigger but it works really well. The setup was simple thanks to the instructions. We now have a different lock code for each of our family members plus our fingerprint.

It works. No complaints.
A little tricky on the install, but honestly all door knobs are for me… But it does work and I’m happy with the end result.

Safety
Sensitive when deadbolt closes into frame. Hole must be large enough compared to a manual lock that has some flexibility so always makes you think if lock sucessfully closed.

Nice set. Not super bright but good for mood/accent lighting which is what we wanted. Placed on the front soffit overhang of a log cabin inside a metal channel and it gives a nice warm glow to the cabin. Can change the light color for a new look anytime and the schedule function in the smarthome app makes it easy to turn on at dusk and off at 11pm. Easy to get the key in the door now with the light.The WiFi in the house reaches across the lawn about 30 meters to the cabin and it works well. I was worried about the WiFi range but happy it works every time.Tried the “music” sync and yes it does make the lights dance with the beat but be aware the lights themselves don’t have the microphone built in. It uses the phone’s microphone so you need to have the app open and play music on your phone or sit the phone next to a speaker. The product description made it sound like there was a built in mic but there isn’t. It’s fine though… it works.The light stand comes with a power connector on each end which is handy for a diy’er if you want to cut the strip into two lengths… you can power both halves without having to solder anything. Just buy a “Y” RGB cable splitter and you can run both halves off the one power supply and controller.

These LED strips are a good addition to a room, the supplied remote control provides functionality such as changing colours, setting fading, strobing etc. To get full functionality from the lights it is best to use the Smart Life app and then the lights can be more finely adjusted and also controlled by Google Assistant.The instructions for connecting to WiFi are not that good but basically the lights need to be turned off and on until they start flashing (do not use the remote control for this) and then they Smart Life app should find them.It was useful that a second roll of duble sided tape and connectores provided were provided as I have fiitted other LED light strips and had to buy connectors.I did try the music sync and it only seems to work if you go into the Smrt Life app, select music and then play music on your phone, I don’t think I’ll be using it very often.I have set the lights to come on at 30 minutes before Sunset using the Smart section of the Smart Life app and it works well.

I would have given 5 stars but no instructions, seems to be a crappy trend not adding instructions to things and nearly busted them trimming them down because of the rubber coating they have. You can use with smart life and that sets up super easy, the instructions for that are shakey, I don’t understand why these Chinese company’s don’t hire a decent translator to write the instructions, these were pretty bad.
