Cheap and works great
I am extremely impressed with this little laptop. I bought it for my senior citizen dad who needs something easy to learn. The Chromebook is no frills and hooked up to the router and printer without a glitch. I recommend getting a separate mouse as the touchpad is not good for elderly folk to use.

amazing little device!
this is an amazing little device! i’ve had chromebooks since they came out with them, and they’ve served me well. i was wanting a small laptop, about the size of an ipad, to stick in my purse and travel with. this one fit the bill! i was wary having bought it without seeing it in person, but i am so glad i took the chance. for starters, it’s so well made and thoughtfully designed. there’s a soft padded rubber rim around the edge right where your wrist sits. i’ve never seen that on a laptop before. the keyboard is fantastic and the screen is bright and clear. it’s just amazing and i am so happy with this purchase!

Seller is very responsive but product reliability is questionable
Ordered 2 of these to use as training stations for my employees. Compact, light weight, surprisingly sturdy and low cost. Upon arrival one of them worked great but the other would not charge. In fact the one that was not charging was indicating no battery installed which I don’t believe because both units weighed the same. Returned the one with “no battery” with no hassles and promptly receive the replacement. Both were working great and considering purchasing a few more of them when the replaced chromebook started having issues with the power and backspace keys. One of my employees did a restart by selecting shut down and then there was no chance to restart the chromebook due to the backspace key not working. Again no hassle return with the seller. I would rate the seller a 5 star and the product a 1 or 2 star given the dependability issues I’ve seen. Still not convince they are a bad platform just think the quality control from the seller’s source needs to improve their quality standards. You are getting a great deal if they work so just be cautious.

Track pad covered in a strange sticky film, scraped off, but ew.
Mine arrived with adhesive all over the trackpad. I was able to scrape it off, but only kept it for the price! It’s a streamer, not a computer. For zoom calls, emails, google apps suite, etc. the screen quality is meh, not good for movies. It functions well, exactly as designed.

Great but SLOW
If you can get past the small size (11″), this Chromebook is a good buy. The keyboard doesn’t feel cramped at all, screen is fine for work/web/videos and the sound is good and made better with headphones. But it’s *alarmingly* slow. Pages often time out before loading, and I’m spending a lot of time hitting the Refresh button. For a newer Chromebook, and a Dell at that, this is a surprise! I have a truly ancient Dell Latitude laptop running Windows XP that can do some things faster than this, and every other laptop or tablet I’ve used here has been quick to get up and at ’em, so it’s not the fault of my internet connection. This works out OK for me as I’d rather be online less overall, but if you need to be plugged in, something a bit faster might be better for your needs.

Ma fille voulait un portable pour faire ses travaux d’ecole, recherche et réseaux sociaux. Je lui ai offert à Noël et elle est très contente. Elle est souvent dessus et ça l’air très bien allé! Pour ce qu’elle a a faire avec c’est un super achat!

I understand d that this is cheap but having said that I expect it to work. If I push power button it either will not turn on or takes up to 45 minutes. I very often get Chrome OS message. Checked it in online and was advised to turn off then back on. It is too costly to return so I am stuck with a malfunction Chromebook.When it was delivered it came in a box without any protections.Amazon asked for my feedback and I replied and have not heard back.I probably spend close to 300 a month on Amazon purchases but now am rethinking this.
