Very good. Excellent Value. Easy to set up and to use.
This portable printer is awesome. I’m doing a lot of traveling (by car), and this makes it easy to print from almost anywhere. The initial setup was not complicated and worked on the first try. It is quick and easy to take it out of the travel case and set it up for printing. It is wireless and/or wired. The print quality is great. The print cartridges are lasting a long time. I was a bit concerned about that, but it’s good. The user interface is simple and works really well. This give a ton of value for the price.

Good printer
I was looking for a well priced, good working, smaller printer that I can take out to the field with me. My previous job provided an HP office jet 250, which I was really impressed with, so I wanted to compare something similar. This printer is basic and is just that, and really all I needed. Could I use the fancy features like the HP 250? Sure, but not for the extra price.Positives: size, printer speed, print quality, easy installation, and has capability for portable battery.Negatives: takes a little long to load turning on and acknowledging from Mac, ink packs are TINY, power and USB ports are on the right side and not the rear.Overall, it’s well priced and does what I need it to. I’m happy with it.

Perfect for traveling
Great printer for traveling. We recently had to be away from home for two months. While most of us don’t need printers every day, over two months you do. This little gem weighs less than my laptop..Great quality, even for photos. Not very fast but when traveling, who’s in a rush?

Looks small but packs big punch!
Wow! Compact, efficient, and super easy to use, the Canon PIXMA TR160 is exactly what I needed for printing on the go. Quick setup (very), reliable prints, and fits perfectly in my bag when I’m taking it on the go! I’m honestly wondering why I didn’t get this sooner! Great for documents while traveling, and I’ll most likely buy another one for other uses. If you need a portable printer that actually works, this is it. Priced right for me too.

Quality printing in a portable package
After my previous portable Canon printer, the Pixma iP90, finally gave up the ghost after a decade and a half, I needed a replacement. The TR160 prints documents pretty fast for such a small unit, and at good quality. I haven’t tried photos yet, but I expect similar or better results than the iP90, and those were about as good as I could reasonably expect with a CMYK inkjet on photo paper. The fact that you can attach a battery to it and go fully portable is definitely a plus. It has built in networking — which is something I didn’t expect from a printer this compact — and can print wirelessly directly to the printer without connecting to a network. It’s a great option if you need to print on the go.

Do not buy
I’ve had this printer for several months now and wanted to provide a review. My advice is DO NOT BUY. This printer is not worth the money spent. This is the worst printer ever. I bought it for the size and thought it would be economical and speedy. The size is nice but it’s the slowest printer ever and constantly says offline although it’s on and our internet is working fine. When it does print, it’s so SLOOOOOOOW. It stops in the middle of a print job and almost like it forgets what is being printed and won’t complete the job. Goes through ink too fast also…I don’t use it daily but already had to purchase and refill the black ink cartridge. Save your money and buy something else.

Excellent portable printer and compact size battery operated capability.
The feature that I like the best about this particular portable printer is the fact you can buy a battery pack for it and use it remotely without having it plugged into the wall. The battery can be charged by plugging the unit into the wall directly but it can be operated without a power cord as long as you have the battery. Colors work pretty good black cartridge works really good and they’re cheap enough to buy and you can replace them pretty quickly and easily. Print quality is nice doesn’t excellent job and doesn’t use a tremendous amount of Ink on each print job but still looks good. There are carrying cases that allow you to carry it around and they don’t take up a lot of space. It’s easy to store needs to carry although it is a bit weighty but not as heavy as a large size printer would be. Wireless connectivity is easy to set up both on the front panel and with software. When I set mine up I use the front panel to set up the wireless and it connected pretty quickly to my mobile router. All in all this is the printer I would recommend if you need something portable and small enough to be able to carry around with you on an everyday use. I could see this being used by business people as well as people living in RVs like I do as easy to travel with and can easily be used to print out stuff on the go or were spaces at a premium.

I received the printer pretty quickly through PRIME service. The printer came in the US plug, so need to use a adapter which is expected. The printer size is just right for my small apartment and the print quality is good. Thank you for the good offer Amazon!
