DO NOT BUY
This is the third or fourth different club I have tried now.. In one way or the other there was things I liked about all of them. All of them except this one. It has never worked right, it will constantly hit balls completely in the wrong direction. If they were just going right or left I would understand and accept the fact that it was probably my fault. This is not the case with this club. When I say in the wrong direction I mean completely in the wrong direction… Backwards in other words. I had gotten my game down to shooting under pare pretty much every time out and now I can’t even finish a round because of this piece of JUNK! I hate this piece of garbage and would not recommend it to anyone. I only gave it a one star because I like the length of the club. Other than that it is straight TRASH!!!

GREAT CLUB, but a bit of work to make it secure.
I like this club. It works well with Walkabout mini golf. A few steps are needed (switching battery door, and using the string that comes with controller to secure), but it is really secure.

Updated review:Great when it works.Which is sometimes. Sometimes, the game doesn’t recognize the club, so I have to create a custom club. Which is incredibly frustrating as you try to navigate holding side triggers, which requires leaning over, so you’re kind of guessing at the right length, and then hitting the save trigger and hoping you didn’t move it too much, and the save trigger doesn’t always work, requiring you to do it again. 3-5 minutes of hassle *every time*.But when it does work, it gives the game a nice, realistic feel. I’m not a real golfer, so I can’t comment on the comparison of the club to a real club, but when it works, it really feels like you’re swinging a virtual club.

What you are getting is a basic club shaft and that’s about it. There is absolutely no weight to it. Extremely light. I need to figure out a way to add weight to the bottom of the shaft for better control. On the plus side the way the controller is secured is brilliant.

Must have for Meta Quest 3 VR golf games.
This accessory is a must for any of the available golf games for the Meta Quest 3 like Golf5 and Walkabout. It attaches easily after a quick battery and cover swap. The only downside is that you can’t use the rechargeable batteries that are included when you purchase the OEM Meta charging dock or the standard battery covers. Their shape doesn’t allow the latch to engage over and around, so the battery must be the standard shape and the covers must be changed to allow the latch to “snap” over. It’s not a big deal and literally takes seconds to swap out both the battery and cover, so I’m leaving my review at 5 🌟. I really like that it secures the end of the wrist strap, then turns and tightens around to really secure the controller inside. The club grip feels authentic and adds to the game by making it easier and more comfortable to play. Using just the controller and trying to swing it like a real golf club just didn’t feel right. This accessory feels high quality and is at an affordable price. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to step up their VR golf game.

Useful but has Limits
It did its job, but I’ll probably get something nicer next time. I used it for about a year now and it just snapped off mid swing but that’s probably just from overuse. Not ideal, but it’s plastic and had its limit. It’s pretty light so I wrapped some weighted tape on it to make it a little heavier. Controller felt very secure for the time I had it, and it held through a lot of full swings. Would recommend for someone with a lower swing speed and not playing too often. Otherwise better brands aren’t much more expensive.

Mit diesem AMVR Golfschlägeraufsatz habe ich definitiv ins Schwarze getroffen!Die Verarbeitung ist erstklassig: Der Aluminiumschaft wirkt sehr hochwertig und stabil, während der Gummigriff sich nahezu identisch anfühlt wie bei einem echten Golfschläger. Was mich besonders überzeugt hat, ist der sichere Halt des Controllers. Durch das clevere Befestigungssystem mit der Schnalle und dem zusätzlichen Sicherungsknopf für das Handgelenkband sitzt der Controller bombenfest. Selbst bei kräftigen Schwüngen habe ich nie das Gefühl, dass sich etwas lösen könnte.Die Installation war kinderleicht: Controller einsetzen, Schnalle schließen, Sicherung festziehen, fertig! Die mitgelieferte Batteriefachabdeckung passt perfekt und vervollständigt das System. In der Golf+ App musste ich nur noch kurz den Schlägeraufsatz kalibrieren, was ebenfalls problemlos funktionierte.Was das Spielerlebnis betrifft: Welch ein Unterschied! Der Schwung fühlt sich durch die zusätzliche Länge und das Gewicht viel realistischer an. Die Schwungbewegung wird natürlicher, und man bekommt ein viel besseres Gefühl für die Schlagkraft. Das 80-Grad-Design sorgt dafür, dass das Tracking jederzeit einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Tasten am Controller sind trotz des Aufsatzes problemlos erreichbar.Für alle, die Golf+ auf ihrer Quest 3 spielen und ein realistischeres Spielgefühl erleben möchten, ist dieser Golfschlägeraufsatz ein absolutes Must-have. Der Preis von knapp 47 Euro mag auf den ersten Blick etwas hoch erscheinen, aber die Qualität und der enorme Zugewinn an Spielspaß rechtfertigen die Investition vollkommen.

Se giocate a a Golf + e’ praticamente un “must have” ma a patto che siate giocatori o che abbiate preso qualche lezione perche’, diversamente, l’impugnatura risultera’ molto piu’ difficile da farla correttamente rispetto al singolo controller del Q3. Ovviamente se la impugnatura non e’ perfetta la pallina andra’ ovunque tranne dove l’avete indirizzata voi. Quindi e’ sicuramente consigliatissimo da avere per aggiungere un indispensabile realismo ma, per alcuni, potrebbe non avere un immediato beneficio inteso come resa e divertimento.L’articolo e’ abbastanza buono. lo shaft, in acciaio e’ di buona fattura e, molto buona, e’ l’impugnatura in gomma molto simile (se non uguale) a quella di una vera mazzata da golf. Il sistema di affrancatura e’ buono il rischio di lanciare il controller contro una finestra o contro il coniuge, non c’e’.Articolo sicuramente bello, valido e “indispensabile” per Golf Plus ma, 49,99 euro, sono oggettivamente, un po’ tanti. Io comunque sono soddisfatto.

It does feel a little strange swinging around a ‘heavy’ stick in a room whilst not being able to see. This golf club feels like swinging a bar of aluminium around. When the club gets to the bottom of the swing, a metal weight detaches internally and just after the lowest part, it hits the bottom of the club giving the feel that the club has hit something moveable.When I first got the club I thought that it wasn’t working. There is a dial in the handle that I needed to turn almost all the way to the ‘nothing’ position in order for the weight to move. Maybe I am just a weakling, but the weight stops moving for me before a full turn the other way. This is not of great consequence, as once the correct ‘weight’ has been set, there isn’t a need to change it. This dial determines how much force is needed on a swing in order to release the internal weight.One thing that did make me a little nervous, is the length of the club. My 12 yr old son (around 1.5m) is able to use it without hitting the floor. However I would not think it would suit below 1.2m. This isn’t really a fault of the club, as it does need to be of some length in order to feel correct to the user.I used it with Golf+ on the Quest 3, there is a profile for the GA1 already in it. If one finds that the club is not working correctly in the game, ensure that the GA1 version has been selected, not one of the other AMVR versions (my initial mistake)
