Great Little STEM Kit
Exactly what they say it is.Easy to build, fun little kit. Great value for the price. There are a few steps where the kids definitely need a little help but that’s a great part of the process. They learn about electricity, mechanics, and robotics – and the end product is great! If you have younger kids and want to hook them up with a STEM project – this is it👍

Fun project for kids (with some help from adults)
I bought the “4 Set Bulk Robot Kits for Kids 6-8 8-12, STEM Crafts Robotics Science Projects” to build with my granddaughters. Overall the sets were well and the parts were somewhat pre-sorted to help identify which were to be used for different steps. The instructions are fine for an adult/instructor but I think they would be very hard to follow for the targeted age group. My only real complaint is that the screws used are VERY small and difficult to install. You are only putting the screws into plastic, but the screw heads are small and the provided screwdriver requires a significant amount of pressure to get the screws started and not strip out the screw heads. Even with a good screwdriver, the screws are difficult to install. If I were building the kit alone, it would have taken about 15-20 minutes the first time through. With my 6 year old granddaughter’s help, it took about an hour. We both found the build to be fun and the kit was an excellent complexity level to keep her interested without becoming overly frustrated.

Recommend for Kids age 6-8 not 6th grade
Although I got this as a gift. The age range is for 6-8 not 11+ so much. The Older kid put them together in about 15 mins without challenge. They are easy to assemble and a good value. The size is appropriate for 6+. Haven’t yet tested the functionality Wait to see. I think the kids will enjoy and have fun. Pretty good quality of material.

Fun and kept kids interested
Used for a birthday party gift bag and they were a big hit. Good price and a fun option for the kids to take home.

Cute and fun to build
Got these as party favors and they are super cute. It has some small screws so younger kids may need some assistance.

Kids loved building them
Kids loved making these. Downfall is should put a sticker marking top and bottom of motor, some put on upside-down and wouldn’t walk until flipped.

My girls love these!
We homeschool and this is a great way to add on to their science projects, they learned a lot and now want more. I feel like this should be mandatory so kids can develop their engineering skills, creativity, patience and learn how things work in general. And we are able to have better conversations when we are trying to 3D print items for them to explore with. You can make your own customization as well and just let them tinker around and see what they can come up with! Also, this kit is prefect for group project because there’s 4 of the same thing, just in different colors. I wasn’t away until I got it so it was a plus for us, both my girls, my wife and I were able to do this project together this time. We’ve had other STEM projects and so far love them all!If it helps, 10 year old daughter and 6 year old daughter. They both love it and it gives them a healthy competition edge where they still work and help each other out but have their own version.Schools should provide these and especially for home schooling because it gives your kids a change to engage and get tactile with these things. You learn best when you do them yourself. And they stand out and remember better because it’s not just watching a video or reading a book, it’s actually building things. Very healthy for their confidence when they test themselves and figure it out. It’s like Legos but with happy results.
