Great Birthday Gift for My Son！
I bought this laptop as a birthday gift for my younger son, and it turned out way better than I expected at this price. He mainly uses it for schoolwork, online classes, and some gaming. The 16-inch screen is really easy on the eyes — big, clear, and great for both videos and homework.The laptop starts up fast, and switching between apps is smooth. The AMD processor handles everyday tasks without any issues. My son plays a few games that have decent graphics, and they run surprisingly well (he’s not playing anything super demanding). The backlit keyboard is also a nice touch, especially when he uses it in the evening.The build quality feels solid — definitely not flimsy. WiFi 6 is stable, and streaming or browsing is quick. For this price point, I honestly think it’s a great deal.Overall, my son loves it, and for daily use plus some light gaming, it works perfectly. I’m happy with this purchase.

Shot lived battery, but good performance.
So for this computer is kicking butt. My only problem is its battery life in power saving mode is about 2.5 hours. Works grate in all my classes tho.

Know your user
This is a solid laptop, clearly deserves 5 stars for the right user. If your child (or you) are a gamer, graphic designer, or some other heavy user with need for lots of speed, this is not the best for you. Let’s look at the specs, has an Intel N97, which was released in Q1, 23 (2 years ago). It is a 4 core, running at 2.00 GHz. 16 GB RAM installed (do not know type of speed), no touch screen, running windows 11 Pro. These are not bad specs for most users, but not “up to par” for someone who is really into computers, but this is not a $2000 laptop.For the rest of us, I use a laptop for writing, for email, sometimes watch a video, sometimes project a power point. I use it almost every day. So for me and my use it is fast. From pressing the power button to log in screen coming up, it takes about 10 seconds. I installed Microsoft office (already had an account), and that works great. Videos are smooth (1920×1080, 60 Hz), sound is adequate (has two little built in speakers, or can use Bluetooth headphones,or does have headphones jack). Screen size is fine, full sized keyboard with number pad. Only negative, I will get used to, is the right hand shift key is small, so I have been hitting the up arrow often when trying to hit shift with my right hand. It is not lightweight, compared to what was available 8 years ago it is lightweight, but certainly not the lightest on the market. It does have a video camera and microphone for video calls. Because it uses a 500 GB SSD rather than a hard drive, it is very quiet. Does have a fan that comes on from time to time, but often the computer is totally silent.Because I do not know the company history and I try to be careful, I always do a factory reset upon getting any new computer or tablet. This means set up and updating windows took several hours, then downloading programs I want or need, several more. Two days in and I am still mostly in set up stage, but have found it is a good, solid computer. For the price, for the right user, this unit will work great.

good budget laptop that should fulfill most of your needs
I was surprised at the build quality of this laptop. it seems to have a solid build with enough input options to suit most people’s needs. the number keys are also a nice addition, especially if you do a lot of data entry, this also makes for a wide screen which is rare in a laptop, especially at this price point.it maxes out the memory for the N97 at 16GB, this should be more than enough for all but video editing. this will be a perfect laptop for the student in the house or one that you want to tote around and not be devastated if dropped etc.
