Nice product.
You could not tell that this was a returned item. All parts were in the box and the doorbell did not have any scratches on it. It was easy to install and to get it up and running. Much better camera than my previous Ring doorbell and night vision is much better.

Huge Improvement in Picture Quality, But Battery Life Could Be Better
I upgraded to the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus to replace my original Ring doorbell, which was battery operated. I always thought my poor picture quality was due to internet issues, even purchasing a Ring internet extender to help—but it didn’t fix the problem. After switching to the Ring Doorbell Plus, the picture quality is a million times better! The zones are much more accurate, and I no longer get constant alerts every time a leaf blows by or a car passes. The downside, though, is the battery drain—it goes down way too quickly, which is frustrating. That said, the night vision is excellent, and I love how the doorbell colorizes when someone is at the door, making it even more useful. Overall, I’m happy with the upgrade, but just wish the battery life were better.Edited:Here’s the game-changer: after writing my review, Ring’s customer service reached out to me directly and I was honestly blown away!! At first, I thought it was spam (because who offers this kind of service anymore?). But one of their representatives set up a phone call with me, asked about my issues, and went above and beyond. They sent me all new components, completely free of charge. I tested them out and everything worked perfectly. The rep even followed up afterward to ensure everything was working smoothly. Their kindness and dedication to making sure I was completely satisfied blew me away!! I can honestly say I’ll never buy another brand again. Ring’s customer service is UNMATCHED and their product quality has earned my loyalty for life.

Looks like new, works like new.
I am a fan of Amazon’s renewed items. I have yet to receive any renewed items that didn’t look and operate like it was brand new. I really like the dual power mode of this doorbell, hardwired and battery.

Incorrect Mounted Hardware but has a Birds Eye View
The included mounting hardware is incorrect. I’m not sure exactly what hardware was missing. There were no directions. I decided to ditch mounting it to my house and I hung it up using a strong adhesive strip, which has worked very well. The doorbell works well detecting motion and the app allows for adjusting the zone where the motion will alert you, and/or how sensitive the motion detention is. I recommend setting the sensitivity to low if you live by the road or sidewalk. It was easy to connect and I’ve experience zero connectivity issues or lag time issues, but my router is nearby on the other side of the wall nearest the camera. The quality of picture is good. This is a Birds Eye view camera, allowing for visibility even around corners. As long as you find the correct strong double adhesive tape, there’s no problem installing it.

A Refurbished Gem That Feels Brand New
**First Impressions**Unboxing this “like-new” Ring Battery Doorbell Plus felt like getting a brand-new device! The packaging was pristine, and the doorbell itself showed zero signs of wear. If you’re hesitant about refurbished tech, this model proves you can save money without sacrificing quality.**Head-to-Toe HD+ Video**The **HD+ video quality** is a standout. Whether it’s broad daylight or pitch-black night, the 1536p resolution captures crisp, vibrant footage. The **3D Motion Detection** and **Color Night Vision** mean you’ll see everything from a delivery person’s smile to the color of a suspicious car—no murky grayscale here. The 150° vertical field of view ensures packages on the ground aren’t missed, either.**Motion Detection & Alerts**The **Advanced Motion Detection** is hyper-responsive. Customizable zones let you ignore swaying trees but catch porch pirates. Alerts hit my phone within seconds, and the **Bird’s Eye View** feature (which maps motion paths) adds extra context. No more guessing whether it’s a squirrel or a visitor!**Two-Way Talk Clarity**The **noise-canceling mic and speaker** make conversations effortless. I chatted with delivery drivers without the lag or distortion I’ve experienced with older models. Even in windy conditions, voices came through clearly—perfect for directing couriers or scaring off porch loiterers.**Battery Life & Installation**As a battery-powered device, installation took 15 minutes (no wiring!). The removable battery lasts **2-3 months** on a charge, and swapping it out is a breeze. For constant power, it’s compatible with solar panels or existing doorbell wiring.**Minor Drawbacks**- The **Ring Protect subscription** ($5/month) is needed for video storage and advanced features—a common gripe with Ring products.- **Battery life** dips in extreme cold (below 20°F), but that’s expected for most smart doorbells.**Final Verdict**The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is a **top-tier upgrade** for home security. The like-new model offers **premium features at a discount**, making it a steal for savvy shoppers. If you want crystal-clear video, reliable alerts, and hassle-free setup, this doorbell delivers.

Glad to be able to monitor my front porch
Got refurbished, works like new, impressed that my door is a glass slider, and camera only comes on if I open the slider, it can still see inside my place live, but doesn’t activate the camera until the second I slide my door open!I was surprised by how smart that is! And also easy to set a snooze on alert if your or pets are in n out a lot!Can snooze as long as you’d like per settingLove it, had to purchase a year subscription for maybe 50$I feel worth it for peace of mind
