This keyboard does exactly what it’s supposed to do at a great price. The keys are responsive and comfortable to type on for extended periods.Full-sized layout with numpad is perfect for work and general use. Better and less expensive than my recent Cherry “scissors mechanism” keyboard purchase.
I recently purchased a Cherry “scissors mechanism” keyboard. It’s a hefty keyboard, which would lead one to believe that it’s well-built, sturdy, etc. “German Engineering Prowess” is top blurb on its Amazon page! After about a month of use I accidentally knocked it off my desk and it dangled by its USB cord for about 3 seconds. After that the keyboard cable would intermittently short the USB bus leading to very confusing symptoms (took a fair while to diagnose and then suddenly remember the “dangle incident”). That was it for that keyboard! Worst of all, I contacted Cherry and they will not sell/send a USB cord replacement. So, I ordered this Amazon keyboard and it turns out that 1) It’s much less expensive than the Cherry; 2) I like the key-action, displacement, click-sound, etc, better; 3) It’s much lighter than the Cherry so I’m suspecting that if it accidentally slides off the desk it won’t damage the USB cable; and 4) It’s actually easier to clean than the Cherry. Do yourself a favor and get this keyboard, it’s a tremendous value. And value is the name-of-the-game, or should be.

I have to say, this keyboard is solid. The quality is good for the price, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. No drama, no setup spiral, just insert and go.That said, I decided to return it but not because anything was wrong. The keys are short and low profile, and my fingers crave altitude. As a lifelong typist, I personally prefer taller keys. I like feeling the key travel, the rhythm, the poetry of a good keystroke. These keys are more sleek and compact, which many people will actually love.So if you’re into slim, quiet, modern keyboards that just work, this is a great choice. For the money a great performing keyboard
When my KeyTronic space bar stopped working, I needed a replacement quickly. Delivery in less than 2 hours could not be any better. Took a little getting used to as the key travel is less than half of my old keyboard, but still a solid performing keyboard for the money. Managed to repair my old keyboard but decided to use the new one. Only down side no adjustment legs on the back to raise it up. Placed some urethane bumpers on the back and now it firmly grips my desktop.

This keyboard works very well, except that the Print Screen key would not work like it is supposed to, using the Fn key and Print Screen. I fiddled around with it a bit, and somehow it now takes a screenshot with the use of the Windows key and Print Screen instead, so I am satisfied with it. I bought it on sale, so it was a good deal too.

Pros: great key travel and no noise.Cons: It’s hard to feel the positioning bumps on the keys F and J. These are necessary if you never look at the keyboard and rely on the tactile feeling of the bumps for touch typing.
